Maybe you can't afford or don't have access to the things you need to take care of yourself or your baby.  That's okay - we've got you covered. Maternity clothes, baby clothes, diapers, formula, baby furniture and numerous other baby items are available in our on-site store and can be earned through the nationally acclaimed Earn While You Learn program.

EARN WHILE YOU LEARN is a nationally acclaimed program for expectant and young mothers and fathers to "earn" baby clothes, furniture, maternity clothes and other necessities by learning!  Clients earn "Baby Bucks" by taking prenatal, parenting, child birth, and other classes, as well as by keeping doctor's appointments and completing other approved educational activities. "Baby Bucks" are then used to purchase items in the store located in our center.

Adoption today is very different from what it used to be. We can make an appointment for you to meet with an adoption counselor right at our center, and you will be able to get all of your questions answered in a non-threatening, down-to-earth, no-pressure environment. If you do decide to pursue adoption, you will be able to look through portfolios outlining potential parents for your baby. You will get to choose who you would like your baby to be adopted by, as well as if the process is something you will be a part of (after the birth) or if you would like it to be a closed adoption. The choices are yours!

Unfortunately, men are often left out of the pregnancy picture. You may have no support from friends or family. You're probably feeling mixed emotions if you and your partner are facing an unplanned pregnancy. But we challenge you be a part of the process. After all, you're the father. This affects you, too. You can help your partner consider all the facts so that you can both make the best decision for your lives.

We encourage you not to rush into making a choice. Give yourself some time. Where you go from here will have a significant impact on your life, and you have options, so let LifeCare help you make an informed decision.

If you are already a parent or about to become one, we have counseling and information just for you as a father. We believe, and there is loads of research to indicate, that men are vitally important in the lives of their children. You can learn how to become a good or better parent to your child with trained male counselors who are also fathers. These men help teach classes about things like what to expect during your partner's pregnancy and the birth process, stages of child development, nutrition, and parenting skills. These men are also there to support you as a father, because your needs as a male are unique from those of your partner. We want you to know that you don't have to do this alone - we've got your back.

Though we offer a wide range of services, we coordinate with many other agencies in the community that provide resources such as maternity insurance, financial assistance, employment skills, medical assistance, educational opportunities, adoption services, housing, ongoing professional counseling, and legal aid.
